Our Story

The Hair Shoppe Studios has been a trusted name in beauty and grooming since 2008. Originally starting as Tom’s Barbershop, a modest two-chair barbershop, the business has grown and evolved under the ownership of Becky Rowan, who took over the shop at just 26 years old. With over five years of experience in the beauty industry, Becky saw the opportunity to transform the space into a full-service salon catering to the hair needs of both men and women. Her vision was to create a warm, welcoming environment where clients of all ages could feel relaxed and well cared for.

In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unforeseen challenges, including a two-month shutdown that coincided with the expiration of the shop’s lease. Despite these hardships, Becky seized the opportunity to re-imagine and expand the business, relocating just half a mile from the original location. In doing so, The Hair Shoppe Studios was born. With the rebranding came new offerings, including three dedicated studios: the Hair Studio, Nails Studio, and Esthetics Studio, each focusing on delivering expert care in its respective field.

The Hair Studio specializes in a wide range of services for men, women, and children, including haircuts, color services, and styling. Whether you're looking for a quick trim or a bold color transformation, our team offers cutting-edge techniques such as balayage, highlights, and lowlights. For bridal parties, we offer upstyles and extensions, ensuring that every client walks out looking and feeling their best. We also offer K-18 bond builder treatments that strengthen and restore hair, ensuring both healthier hair and vibrant color. Our primary color line, Megix10, an innovative Italian brand, is designed to provide high-quality results in just 10 minutes, allowing clients to achieve beautiful color with minimal downtime.

In the Nails Studio, we offer both natural and gel manicures, including Gel X nail extensions and customized nail art to fit every personality. Pedicure services include everything from simple manicures to luxurious spa pedicures complete with heated stone leg massages, designed to offer clients the ultimate relaxation experience.

Our Esthetics Studio provides a range of beauty services that enhance natural beauty, including facial waxing, brow tinting, lash lifts and tints, airbrush spray tanning, and DaVinci LED teeth whitening. For those seeking skincare on the go, we also offer express facials for a quick but rejuvenating treatment.
